Enjoy the classic look of shutters with the darkness of a blackout blind. A discrete cellular pleated blackout blind sits inside the shutter frame to block light for restful sleep.
We custom make and fit across Essex, matching colours and hardware so the system looks seamless by day and transforms the room at night.
The blackout blind is mounted within the shutter frame, close to the glass, reducing side light and haloing. Choose pleated for a slim stack or cellular for extra insulation and a softer fold.
Shutters are available in polyvinyl for moisture-prone rooms or painted and stained wood for living spaces. Pick from four louvre sizes and three tilt styles — hidden tilt for minimal lines, clearview side tilt or a centre tilt rod for a classic look.
We colour-match frames and specify split-tilt or mid-rails where needed, so you can fine tune light by day then drop the blind for full darkness at night.
Shift workers, light sleepers and little ones benefit from a darker space. The integrated blind tackles street lights and early sun, while the shutter louvres handle daytime privacy and glare.
